  1. We got in safely with only one lost bag, thanks to US Airways. We miss you folks and are going to try the WOD today -- in 20 degree weather. Frank has a slight advantage since he's sporting some crazy underarmor gear and I have merely yoga pants and Mary's CF Vegas shirt. :) Wish us luck!

  2. Didn't do exactly the run as prescribed. I just got the new IPhone (yeah Kehau, I gave in and got it) and downloaded a new app. called RunKeeper. Went down to Eddie Tam and did four 800 meter runs. They weren't exact 800 meters but here are my times.
.58 miles - 6:19 min. at a 10:58 minute per mile pace (Terrible!)
    .69 miles - 6.15 min. at a 9:05 minute per mile pace
    .64 miles - 5.39 min. at a 8:52 minute per mile pace
    .63 miles - 5.30 min. at a 8:44 minute per mile pace
I was happy that my times were quicker each run but slightly disappointed that I couldn't get under an 8:30 minute per mile pace. Gives me something to work towards. I rested three minutes between each run.

Frank and I warmed up with a two-mile trail run. After that, my lungs were burning from the cold and my nose was running (at a seven-minute mile pace). Thus is my excuse for passing on the WOD.

Nonetheless, I'm proud of Frank for pushing through in the freezing cold weather (and for running in three layers of clothes). He ran on a track and here are his times:

    800: 2.42
    400: 1.12
    200: .32

Hey Daddy Longlegs, How did you do? Did you give Frank some competition?
